i camped

Friday night I went camping with some friends. I was a little nervous to go because I have not been camping since high school and I think I've grown to prefer the comforts of life (i.e. my bed). The decreasing temps of October made me all the more nervous. So this was a feat for me.

But I had a great time. It was beautiful up there. The leaves were still changing colors. We made an amazing dinner, sat around the campfire, played cards and I am happy to report I was toasty warm in my sleeping bag, layers of clothing and wool socks. My dad has taught me well.
