Our Wedding Dinner

The night before the wedding my in-laws hosted the most amazing dinner for close family and friends. It was located on an upper floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The room was beautiful, the food was amazing and the decorations were awesome. Seriously. I don't think the night could have gone any more perfect. I might be bias, but it was also pretty entertaining. It was a great way for both sides to come together and get to know me and Scotty better. A very fun-filled and relaxing night!

Aren't these favors cute? My mother-in-law put together a goody bag full of my and Scott's favorite treats and a CD of some of our favorite love songs ... mostly old fashion, classic ones.

Me and Scotty.
Awww.
Me and my sisters.
My fam. The Johnsons. Minus my brother.
Don't worry he makes a cameo at the reception.
My cute parents.
My little flower girls (aka my nieces). Aren't they cute?!

After dinner our families put together a little program to help people get to know us better. Pretty much it was a way to embarrass and tease us. A roast if you will. All in good fun though and pretty entertaining!

Afterward, Scott's sisters, who are AMAZING violinists, put together a little musical number for us. They put their own little twist on it involving the crowd as they played (and sang) Nat King Cole's infamous L.O.V.E. song. It was awesome and clearly I was enjoying it (see second picture).

It was such a good start to an amazing weekend!
