The Golden Gate Bridge

This weekend marks the 75th Anniversary of the completion of the Golden Gate Bridge. Scotty proposed to me there so naturally that place holds a special place in my heart. Apparently the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most popular places to be proposed to. I am now part of the statistic and happy to oblige.

It is a beautiful sight that's for sure...not to mention the Tanner family from Full House drives across it in the opening credits. If that's not a reason to celebrate this landmark, then I don't know what is.

P.S. Sometimes we struggle to get a good picture.

 Case in point.

Apparently this is what you get when
my world (work) and the real world collide.

Hilarious.

The Royal Wedding

If you think I woke up at 3 a.m. to watch the Royal Wedding ... you're right. Just like so many other girls in America I just couldn't miss this. I mean with all this English blood I have in me I told Gillian I needed to support my people.

Let's be honest. I went back to bed after she walked down the isle. All I really wanted to see was her dress, which did not disappoint. Classy. Classy. Classy.

I loved all of the formal-ness of everything. Though I am so glad I don't have to live like that, in a world that has become way too casual in a lot of things, it was a breath of fresh air.

Did you watch? What was your favorite part?

Moshi Moshi

So my eyes have been glued to the news and internet since yesterday. What happened in Japan is unreal. Exactly a year ago I was preparing to go visit Japan. Little did I know how much I would love it there. Hands down one of the coolest experiences of my life.

Click here if you dare reading my travel log.

I can't wait to go back some day ... but only if the Murrays are still there.

The Japanese culture is so amazing and the people are hilarious.
I mean HU-LARIOUS!
How can you not love these people?

And the fact that the Little Bo Peep outfits and and old ladies dying their hair purple is completely normal makes me love them even more.

In all seriousness I am so grateful that my family in Japan is safe (shout out to Mary-Moorry and Brad) and my heart goes out to the Japanese people. Peace.
